Office Policies and Emergencies
We attempt to stay on schedule to keep you from waiting. Please do not be late for appointments. We appreciate your patience for the occasional emergency which may delay your visit. If you cannot keep an appointment, please let us know immediately so others can be seen and keep our wait time to a minimum.
Phone Calls and Prescription Refills
Phone calls will be returned by the nurse as soon as possible. Regarding refills, we request that first you verify with your pharmacist that there are no more refills available. Have your pharmacy phone number available; because we need your chart to refill most medications, routine refills will not be phoned in after hours or on weekends.
Insurance and Billing
Our office will file many insurance claims for your convenience. Co-payments are expected at the time of service. Payment plans may be arranged for patients based on need. Billing or insurance questions should be directed to our Billing Department at (205) 599-4274.
Accepted Health Plans
The following is a list of health plans that we currently participate as In-Network. Even if you are not a member of one of the following groups we will still be happy to submit a claim form on your behalf for your visit. Please keep in mind that it is your responsibility to determine if your insurance policy considers our practice as In-Network or Out-of-Network. At your request, we will be happy to assist you in determining your coverage for both in-office visits and hospital visits at Trinity Medical Center. Copays and deductibles are collected at the time of the visit as required by your insurance company.
